I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July 2017 and was given the choice of treatment by surgery or radiotherapy. Straight from my initial meeting with Tracy, to discuss the radiotherapy option, I was impressed by her professionalism and the way she made my wife and I feel at ease. She explained the treatment and her confidence in her and the teams ability to treat the cancer was very uplifting. Tracy is easy to talk with and discuss anything one raises with clarity. She never made us feel that she needed to be somewhere else, giving us all the time we asked of her. Tracy saw me weekly throughout the radiotherapy so any issues could be quickly sorted. I also gained confidence by her thoroughness, the way she checked previous results, making sure the cancer was within my prostate and had not spread. I can recommend Tracy and the team at Rosemere to anyone who is now in a similar position to that which I was in that you will get the best treatment possible.

Appointment was on time and we were made to feel welcome. Everything was explained to us in easy to understand language and we were given ample time to ask questions which were fully answered. Came away feeling reassured and fully informed. Great service!

On our first visit we found Mrs Tracey Ellis to be a most approachable person who quickly made us feel relaxed and able to ask questions we thought may be perceived as foolish. As the patient's spouse I discovered that Mrs Ellis was happy to speak to me on the 'phone which is unusual in my experience. The norm in these situations is to speak only to the patient. Mrs Ellis was very competent, positive, experienced and importantly, honest in all her dealing with my husband. We would most certainly recommend her to all our family and friends as a healthcare professional. We are delighted with the treatment which to date has proved to be very successful.

I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in August 2017 and have recently fnished my course of radiotherapy at Preston Royal Rosemere wing. Before, during and after my treatment Tracey has always made great care to advise and explain carefully and honestlythe process of the Radiotherapy and the situation going forward and what to expect. She has always done so in a professional manner, in a way that gives optomism and hope for the future without being unrealistic. I had all my weekly reviews during my treatment with Tracey and she would listen to any concerns, take her time to explain things and the meetings did not feel pressurised to rush them, whatever time was needed was given until she was sure that all points had been covered. On occasion i have e.mailed Tracey with some queries which where promptly dealt with and answered quickly and fully. I have nothing but admiration for her and the radiotherapy teams at Rosmere who all do there best to make what is a difficult and worrying time as comfortable and reassuring as can be in the circumstances.
